For families and carers

Reassurance for the people beside them.

Families often carry the questions, organise appointments and search for what comes next. Spark Rehab makes the first step simple and gives you space to explain what your loved one needs.

You can be part of the conversation

A family member or carer is welcome to join the introductory conversation and, where appropriate, stay during a session.

Keith will listen to what the survivor wants as well as the practical concerns of those supporting them.

What happens on a difficult day

Post-stroke fatigue and confidence can vary. Sessions can be paced differently, include more rest or focus on a smaller achievable task rather than forcing the original plan.

Clear boundaries

Spark Rehab offers supported exercise, not physiotherapy or medical treatment. Keith works alongside professional guidance and will be clear when a question needs to go back to the GP, physiotherapist or stroke team.

Important: Spark Rehab works alongside medical and rehabilitation teams. It does not replace medical care, physiotherapy or emergency services. Call 999 for new or suspected stroke symptoms.
